The Cohen-Rutkowski Project is a dynamic and multi-stylistic ensemble of highly-skilled and experienced performers whose roots in American music run deep. Equally proficient in jazz and rhythm and blues, they can be counted on to both raise the roof and satisfy the musical connoisseur. Built around composer and pianist Chris Rutkowski and saxophone virtuoso Rich Cohen, its basic unit adds bass and drums to form an instrumental quartet. The group expands to a quintet with the addition of the exceptional vocalist Renee Gonzalez.
